ZAPCAT EXPERIENCE – A Taste of Thundercat Racing
Experience Duration, approx 1 hour. Cost £40 pp, min 2 persons
The Boat used will be a Gemini ZapCat with a 50HP Tohatsu with Race Pack.
Your ZapCat experience will start with a short safety briefing, after which you will be kitted out with a wet suit, helmet and buoyancy aid. After helping to launch the ZapCat and the back up boat the thrills will really begin. You will receive a minimum of 3x5 min rides during the 1 hour. This sport can be quite strenuous hence 3 rides are usually sufficient for the first time.
The Experience may consist of flat-out runs with high-speed turns, wave jumping, and wave riding, or maybe even a mixture of the two depending on conditions on the day.
Pre-Requisites: Participants must be confident in the water - buoyancy aids, wetsuits and helmets are provided and must be worn at all times whilst in the boat.
The demo will include a look at everything Thundercat Racing can offer, including the competition circuit, technical info and accessories. Following this you will experience the boat on the water. The water based demo may consist of flat-out runs with high-speed turns, wave jumping, and wave riding, or maybe even a mixture of the two depending on conditions on the day.
